Access to electronic resources
Most of our electronic information sources, such as online databases and electronic journals are not accessible to visitors, either when they visit the Library or via this website.
However, if you go to our useful websites page, you will be able to view our collection of useful internet links for different subject areas.
If you are from an institution that is participating in the Eduroam service, you may be able to use your laptop in the Library to connect to the internet via the wifi. Please check the IT Help Centre site for more information at https://unity2.tees.ac.uk/helpcentre/public/pages/default.aspx.
Information for SCONUL access scheme members
Teesside University is a member of the SCONUL access scheme. It is a co-operative venture between most of the higher education libraries in the UK. It enables university staff, postgraduate research students, part-time, distance learners and placement students to borrow material from other university libraries in addition to their home library. In addition there is a provision for full-time students to use other libraries on a reference only basis. For further information check the SCONUL access scheme website. For further information on the services available to SCONUL access scheme members at Teesside University, look at our Factsheet 116: Using other libraries (pdf - 179kb).
