New history database
We are now launching JISC eCollections which provides access to a range of databases and archives of printed and multimedia materials, some of which are resources we have had access to in the past and some of which are new to our collection. The 3 collections are:
JISC MediaHub 1 million multimedia items, including news items, music archives and images (from Newsfilm Online, Film & Sound Online and Digital Images for Education)
JISC Historic Books Full text of 350,000 books published 1475 - 1900 (from Early English Book Online; Eighteenth Century Collection Online and Nineteenth Century Books from the British Library collection) (Please note that this area is still in development. Feedback welcome!)
JISC JournalArchive The archives of 600 journals from a range of publishers.
