Welcome to the Inspire North East website

Welcome to Inspire NE.  Inspire NE is an agreement between libraries across the region and beyond which means that access to libraries of all types is now freely available to learners of all ages – from 16 to 106!

Whether you are following an educational course or just pursuing a special interest of your own, if your own library can’t supply what you need, you can now visit most other libraries in the region to find the information or inspiration that you are seeking.

When you visit a new library, you will be welcome to use the main and special collections for reference.  Some libraries may offer additional services such as borrowing and photocopying but there may be a charge for this.

Your own library will be able to tell you more about the libraries you may want to visit and how to join the scheme.
