Darlington Campus Library
Library & Information Services has a small library on the Darlington campus.
What services are available?
TUSCs
If you are a new student, you can obtain your TUSC from the Darlington Campus Library.
PCs
There are student PCs that permit access to standard University software, the Internet and library electronic resources, including the library Catalogue. There isn't a booking system. The PCs are open access. You will need your University username and password to log on.
Printing
You can print and photocopy in black and white, using the same MyPrint service as on the Middlesbrough campus. You can credit your print account online via UniShop.
Study spaces
Both quiet study spaces and silent study spaces are available in the library
Books
There is access to core reference material relating to subject areas taught at Darlington Campus. You can return your Middlesbrough Campus Library loans at Darlington Campus Library, and request items from Middlesbrough Campus Library stock to be sent to Darlington Campus Library for loan (inter site loan service).
Intersite Loan Service
Please check the Catalogue to ensure that the item you are requesting is held in stock at Middlesbrough Campus, complete a request form (available to pick up from Darlington Campus). Your request details will be sent onto Middlesbrough Campus and you will be notified when the item is ready for collection.
E-Resources
you can access the Library's full collection of electronic resources via any of the PCs on campus at Darlington or from off-campus. You will need your University username and password.
Inter Library Loans
Inter Library Loan online forms are available to download from the Library website. Requests are currently handled by Middlesbrough Campus so please allow time for requests to be transmitted to Middlesbrough Campus.
Help and Support
The Library is staffed on Mondays and Tuesdays to provide support and advice. Outside of these days, the Campus Support Assistants can deal with basic enquiries. Library enquiries can also be handled by telephone on Monday and Tuesdays on 01325 248493. On Wednesday - Fridays, general enquiries can be directed to the Campus Support Assistants in 01325 248490 or e-mailed to the Library Customer Services team: customerservices@tees.ac.uk.
