How do I borrow books?
You'll need a Teesside University Smart Card (TUSC) if you haven't already got one. This card will contain your unique borrower number which allows you to borrow material and use our self services. You also need it to use the self-service printing system in the Library and to access some University buildings across both campuses.
You need to use the Self Service stations in the Library at both campuses and follow the on-screen instructions.
You will need your TUSC and PIN. If you do not have a PIN you can set up your own by visiting URL https://myaccess.tees.ac.uk.
Please ask a member of staff if you would like any help.
Can I request a book from another site?
Yes. Please check the Catalogue to ensure that the item you are requesting is held in stock and complete an (Inter-site Loan request form) you will need to complete the book details and identify the site you wish to collect your item from. You will receive an email notification when the item is ready to collect from your chosen site. Enquiries relating to Inter site loans can be directed to libraryhelp@tees.ac.uk
