Saving PDFs in ScienceDirect

There is currently a problem saving PDFs in ScienceDirect on the student PCs. The disc icon that should allow you to save does not work, but there are two other ways to save PDFs.

Library system unavailability - 7 February

On Tuesday 7th February from 8.30am until approximately 10.30am, the library system will be unavailable to allow urgent maintenance. This will mean that the Catalogue, access to MyAccount, online renewals & reservations, telephone renewals and self-service issues and returns services will not be available. Any library transactions during the maintenance period can be handled at the Library Help Desk. We apologise for any inconvenience. The maintenance is essential to allow us to improve the efficiency of our library system and associated services.

Art Full Text and Art Museum Image Gallery - a new look

These two excellent databases of art and design articles and images are getting a new look. From 1st February they will be provided by EBSCO with a new improved interface. You will be able to cross search them with other EBSCO databases and save searches or set up alerts using EBSCO My Account.

Succeed @ Tees - Library workshops

During the spring term, we will be holding a series of workshops to help you with your studies - Succeed @ Tees.

Journal relegation January 2012

We are currently moving older and lesser used journals from floor 3. This will improve the quality of the stock in the library, making relevant volumes more visible by increasing space within the library to accommodate new and existing stock. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
