There are roving staff available to assist you if required. They can be identified by their staff ID and should be roving around the Library building regularly.
Access to Dawsonera ebooks - Saturday 25 May
Dawsonera will be unavailable from 8am on Saturday 25th May for 20 minutes while essential maintenance is carried out.
Reprographics - Binding & Printing
Reprographics (Room 208 Main Tower) do thermal and spiral (plastic comb) binding - price includes card for the front and back (they will print the front title page) and clear front cover. Reprographics will only print on card as part of the full package. Customers MUST NOT put card in MyPrint devices. Reprographics do not take any cash, but please visit them first to get a price. Payment should then be made at the cash office (ground floor Main Tower) and the receipt taken up to Reprographics as proof of payment.
IBIS World
The Library is currently trialling IBIS World. The database covers access to both UK and global Industry reports and includes statistics, analysis and forecasts. To access this, simply go to the IBIS link either from the A-Z list of databases or in the Accounting and Business & Management Libguides. When you have logged on, click on Choose Databases (top left of the screen) and from the list of databases displayed, select IBIS world and click on OK. The trial lasts until 31st May.
Tips for Studying - Email Attachments
If you open an email attachment to work on, for example a Word document, ensure that you save the attachment onto your homespace (as a 'Save As' function to your U drive) before doing any work on it.

Extended opening hours for the Summer Term
As from Monday 8th April the Library will extend its opening hours to 2am on Monday - Thursdays during the summer term.
EBSCO e-book collection
Teesside University Library has set up trial access to the Academic eBook collection in EBSCO until the end of June 2013. It covers a multitude of subjects. Let us know what you think of this collection - send your feedback to libraryhelp@tees.ac.uk
Is there too much noise in the area where you are working in the Library?
If someone is disturbing your study by chatting or making a noise, you can email us and a member of staff will attend as soon as possible. Email librarynoise@live.co.uk between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday, telling us the floor number, your location (e.g. computer cluster student union side) and brief details of the problem. Alternatively, please inform any member of our roving staff or call at the Library iZone.
MyPrint goes Mobile
MyPrint Mobile allows you to submit print jobs remotely using your own desktop PC or wireless device (including laptops) providing you have an email client and internet access.
Emails from accounts ending with @tees.ac.uk or @live.tees.ac.uk will process automatically. Emails from non-tees accounts can also be processed, however, you will need to associate your email account to your Teesside User ID. In response to customer requests we have also installed a MyPrint device in the Post Graduate Lounge.

Learning Hub - new from Monday 24 September
The Learning Hub is located on the ground floor of the Library and provides practical advice, workshops and tutorials on developing your study skills and maths and replaces DISSC. The Learning Hub is open Mon-Fri 9am-7pm during termtime, and Mon-Fri 9am-5pm during vacations.
Replacement TUSCs
Until further notice all replacement TUSCs should be requested via Teesside University online shop http://onlineshop.tees.ac.uk/browse/product.asp?catid=50&modid=1&compid=1. You will need your username and password to log on to the online shop.
Book your own Group Study Spaces
Go to http://tees.libcal.com/booking/grouprooms to book Group Rooms, Group PCs and our new Learning Pods and interactive white board study space, 'The Hive'.
